How to make green screen memes for free

Step 1. Add your background clip to the timeline

Click on the stock video tab on the toolbar. Search through our stock footage categories to find the perfect background clip. Drag and drop the video onto the timeline. 

Step 2. Add a green screen video 

Click on the stock video tab on the toolbar. Scroll down to the perfect for green screen category and search through our stock footage. Drag and drop a green screen stock video onto the timeline.

Step 3. Apply the green screen filter 

Click on the top video clip, so it’s highlighted green. On the property panel, click on the filters tab.

Step 4. Add meme text

Click on the text tab on the toolbar. Drag and drop the meme title onto the timeline above your video assets.

Step 5. Export your meme video
